As Christians we are called the Bride of Christ many times in the Bible. Christians make up the church and the church is called the Bride of Christ. That is exciting to me! Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom and we are His Bride! We are His Betrothed!
This is mentioned many times in the Bible but my favorite verse that it is mentioned in is Revelation 22:17, "And the Spirit and the bride say, COME. And let him that heareth say, COME. And let him that is athirst COME. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
